Develop A Journal and Tell Your Story

There is only one me on this planet… that is an awesome responsibility!

Record your aspirations and accomplishments.
If your life is worth living, it’s worth recording.
-Marilyn Grey

Keeping a journal, a type of personal record of both your business and personal life can make all the difference. Look at it as a record of your life, so to speak. Writing things down really works. It helps you to think more about what you’re doing. It also helps you to have more focus and drive. OK, I know what you’re saying. What if somebody finds it? What if somebody learns all about my life? What if…what if…what if…. How about this one? What if it works? What if I keep it in a safe place so nobody ever sees it? What if I keep it on a computer disk? Where there’s a will, there’s always a way.

OK…now let’s learn how to “professionally” set up and use a journal or, here is another suggestion…JUST WRITE DOWN YOUR THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS AND WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU THAT DAY! THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG.

Keep it simple and fun. Keep it up to date. You will love to go back and see what happened in your life and how you reacted to it at that time.
Here is a personal checklist that can help get the juices flowing from your mind and heart to your pen!

  • What is really important to me in my life?

  • What specifically would be my ideal life?

  • What is a major accomplishment I created that I didn’t think I could accomplish before I began?

  • What SPECIFICALLY did I do to accomplish it? (When you remind yourself of all the many things you have done well, you will feel more confident about taking on any new tasks.)

  • List 100 goals or things you would like to do in your lifetime.

  • How can I help others, knowing when I help other people get what they want, then I will get what I want.

  • How can I think POSITIVE THOUGHTS more frequently, knowing that the power of a focused mind will direct me to more effective actions and therefore, better results?

  • What am I most grateful for?

  • When I leave this earth, what do I want to be remembered for?

  • What inspires me and what would I really do if money were not a concern? BE SPECIFIC!
  • Answer these questions AT LEAST once a year and then review to see if anything has changed over the years. Use this information to create an action plan for changes to your journal. Keep in mind that you can put as much or as little of your personal life in the journal as you wish. The key is to do the work. Do the writing. Keep the journal accurate and up to date.

    Dragon Tales - Review

Dragon Tales by Mary C. Fairbanks is truly and entertaining book, chock full of twenty-four dragon stories. Perfect for youth from the age of five to fifteen, even adults would be charmed by its pages. The images are unique and interesting, with a style that left me with the impression they were created on a computer.

Caregivers are likely to find the morals to each story helpful to deal with youth problems with social interaction, self-image, overcoming self-absorption, understanding others and more. The author tackles many issues through her lovable, yet egotistical dragons or even through sad and lonely dragons. She shows the importance of freedom and dictates communities working together to solve problems peacefully. The confusion between the way that dragons and humans view each other in this book will aid against racism. Her characters learn to not passively accept what everyone else believes and live by another’s prejudices. Instead, Mary has the characters find out for themselves what is the truth. Often, the young characters have to ‘think’ their way out of a situation or learn to ask the right questions - rather than fighting it or running away from problems.

I would recommend this fictional, children’s book of short stories to anyone, anytime, anywhere.

    Magic in Your Spice Rack

Variety is the spice of life, but spices, historically are the
stuff of magic! A spell, after all is really just a recipe and
traditionally many of them involve plant life or herbs. Magic
doesn’t have to be complicated to work. In fact the simplest
spells sometimes work best of all, because they most resemble an
innocent wish and the doer is not attached to the outcome. Check
out the magickal uses of some of these very common spices, which
are found in almost everybody’s spice rack or kitchen cupboard
at home. CINNAMON: Cinnamon is practically one of the most
useful spices in practical magic and is used for purification,
blessings, prosperity, protection and improved communication.
Sprinkling a little cinnamon on your toast or your cafe latte in
the morning may help to improve business. To protect yourself
from gossip or the envy of others, place a tiny dot of cinnamon
on your breast bone in the morning while dressing. Sprinkling a
little cinnamon under the phone, may help you get that difficult
person to call you back. Sucking on a cinnamon flavored candy
before you need to make a presentation or a speech, can help you
be more eloquent (as the spice is ruled by Mercury.) The next
time you wash the floor, add a dash of cinnamon to the pail to
increase business. GINGER: Ginger is used to speed things up.
Next time you do your floor, add a little ginger and cinnamon to
the water in the pail to make your own “Fast Luck in a Hurry”
floor-wash. A little sprinkled under the phone may cause that
important call to come faster, but don’t use too much … it can
also cause a heated exchange or an argument. A mixture of
ginger, cinnamon, crushed dried rose petals and coffee, placed
under your mattress is said to spice up your sex life. SALT:
Salt has been used for ages to purify spaces and prevent
negative energies from entering your home. If you feel like you
are under attack, try sprinkling a little in all four corners of
the house for protection. Taking a bath in salt is said to
purify the aura. BASIL: Said to be ruled by Mars, Basil is said
to have a protective and cleansing influence. If you have had
contact with someone who you dislike and whose negative energy
seems to be hanging around, a bit of basil, steeped in warm
water and drunk like a tea or mixed with tobacco and burned on
the tip of cigarette is said to drive the obnoxious influence
away. Basil sprinkled near the front door is said to bring you
money. BAY LEAF: Aside from seasoning stew, the Bay leaf can
also be used for granting wishes. Write your wish on a piece of
paper and then fold it into thirds, after placing three bay
leaves inside. Fold the paper again into thirds. Once the wish
is granted, the paper and bay leaves should be burned as a thank
you. Bathing in bay leaves (add nine of them) is said to bring
you fame and glory. MARJORAM: Marjoram can be used to clear
negative thought forms from your home. Sprinkle it on the floor
and let it sit awhile (like astral baking soda) to absorb the
bad energy and then with a broom sweep the negative vibes out
    the front door.

MINT: If you need to sparkle in a crowd, charm, woo or sell
something, trying nibbling on a little mint or drinking mint tea
before you do your presentation. However, if that is too archaic
for you, sucking on a spearmint-flavored Tic Tac will do the
trick as well. PARSLEY: Need some cold hard cash? Make a tea out
of dried parsley by boiling a teaspoon of the dried herb and
adding it to a cup of boiled water. Either add it to your bath
or put it in an atomizer. The idea is to sprinkle or spray the
parsley water in a clockwise direction in your house to raise
your money drawing vibration. ROSEMARY: Rosemary is a protective
herb and the whole needles can be sprinkled around the perimeter
of a house for protection. If you like antiques, but are worried
about the vibe of the previous owner of what you bought, a wash
made of one teaspoon of the dried herb to one cup of boiling
water can be used to purify the object from the energies of its
past owners. SAGE: Sage is an herb of wisdom. A tea made from a
teaspoon of sage and a cup of boiling water can be added to the
bath-tub or sprinkled throughout the house to help destroy
illusions and raise mental clarity. You can also buy it
commercially, in tea bags, and drink it to help improve your
    memory while studying for tests.

    Three Stages of Soul

Jain Religion postulates three stages of the soul: (1) the
external soul. (2) The internal soul and (3) the omniscient or
liberated or supreme soul. The external soul is characterized by
an aversion to the quest for truth. The internal soul is fully
dedicated to the quest for truth. One who attains
self-realization is a liberated soul. Supreme soul or
paramatman. Lord Mahavira was a supreme soul. All those who are
fully devoted to spirituality have the right to become supreme
souls. Anyone who follows the spiritual practice that Mahavir
preached and followed can like him become a liberated soul. This
principle of attaining the status of a liberated soul transcends
time, space and individuality. It is a universal principle.

Truth can be ascertained in two ways: scientific appraisal and
    popular estimate.

To know the ultimate nature of the reality of subtle truths. We
use scientific appraisal. Popular estimate is used to know
empirical truth. The form of religion exclusively based on
scientific appraisal cannot take the place of a world religion.
On the other hand a religious code of conduct based on empirical
truths has the potentiality of becoming a world religion. The
code of conduct comprising the vows enunciated by Mahavir is
universal. That code can command wide acceptance from human
    beings living in any society.

Tips For Removing Asbestos Vinyl Tiles

Asbestos vinyl tiles are mostly used for flooring in the homes. However, with the growing awareness about the harmful effects of asbestos, people are removing the asbestos vinyl tiles from their homes and other buildings. You can either hire a professional company for removing the asbestos tiles or do it yourself with the help of some simple tips mentioned herein. However, you have to follow certain safety precautions to avoid asbestos exposure to you and your family during and after the removal process.

Precautions for removing asbestos vinyl tiles are necessary because exposure to Asbestos dust is dangerous. Asbestos is a natural fibrous mineral and can break into to tiny light particles polluting the air especially when it is dry. Hence care should be taken for the proper removal of tiles from the floors. Exposure to asbestos is known to cause serious diseases such as asbestosis, respiratory problems and some types of cancers.

Removal of asbestos vinyl tiles is easier and safer than the sheeting. Tiles are safer to remove than the sheeting because the asbestos is embedded and held together by a vinyl resin in tiles.

Safety Precautions for Removing Asbestos Vinyl Tiles:

    - Keep all the tools and protective clothing in the room before starting the removal procedure.

    - Take precautions not to break the tiles while removing

    - Use warm water to soften the adhesive and to prevent asbestos particles from floating in the air

    - Never sand the tiles or the glue because sanding may release dangerous quantities of asbestos dust into the air.

    - The safe way to remove the asbestos vinyl tiles and the glue is to wet them with warm water and popping them up with a floor scraper.

    - If the tiles are glued to a layer of underlayment, you can remove large sections of the tiles and underlayment to reduce the amount of asbestos released in the air.

    - Specialists in asbestos abatement opine that it is much safer to remove large chunks of floor than smaller pieces.

    - Keep wetting the removed material with water to prevent release of asbestos fibers.

    - Store and seal all the removed material in containers and seal them with duct tapes.

    - Clean the floor and surrounding surface with water.

    - Dispose of the protective clothing and removed material in containers with adequate asbestos labeling.

    - Consult the landfill personnel before disposing of the asbestos containing materials.

    Printing digital photos

The common scenario is…You have taken a lot of beautiful
digital photos, but you do not know how to make quality
printouts? If you are printing them yourself using a photo
printer, it helps to know some tips and tricks.

This article will show you some of the best practices in
    printing digital photos.

    Good pictures give good prints

This is obvious. If you have taken photo at a measly 1 megapixel
resolution, you can’t expect to have a huge A4 quality printout.
If you’ve taken the same photo at a 5 megapixel resolution, then
yes, you can have that A4 print. As a rule, remember that you
need at least a 2 megapixel resolution photo to have a decent
    4×6 printout.

Remove defects from the image first

Check the photo itself to ensure there are no specks or noise.
If there are, use your favorite photo editor to remove them if
possible. Of course, remember to save a backup copy of the image
first. You can read up this guide on touching up photos if you
    need help.

    Crop if necessary

Crop the picture you are going to print if it makes sense to do
so. If you do not want to print the surrounding area around the
subject, remove it. That is where you should crop away the area
around the subject first, and then proceed to print. This saves
you a lot of ink too.

    Select a good printer

This is very important. Only use a quality printer to do the
job. Always try to find a printer with excellent print quality
If one color runs out, you just need to replace that one color,
instead of throwing away the whole cartridge.

    Select good photo paper

Many people tend to forget that good photo prints also depend on
the paper you use. As a rule, you should go for paper that is of
the correct thickness, produces good color and has good
    resistance to fading.

If you will be handling your photos a lot, try to choose thicker
paper. If you intend to place your photos in an album, then
paper thickness isn’t too important - you can choose thinner
    photo paper.

Color brilliance is important too. Try buying some sheaves of
photo paper and print out some colorful images on them to test
them out. Buy them in bulk only if the color tests turn out good.

How in the World Do People Save Money?

Saving money is a hard task to master. It always seems that when things come up, there goes your savings. Many people I know never have any savings to start with.

Saving money is the cornerstone of a successful money management plan. Without an emergency savings when my husband recently was laid off, we would have been up a creek. Even with the emergency savings, things were very tight and we had to call our bank for assistance.

Now we face the task that many people face. Starting over with our savings.

It seems simple to say. You just put your extra money into savings. Wrong.

There really isn’t such a thing as extra money. You may have found that out by now. If you are spending, you have no extra money. If you have debt, you have no extra money.

Where you find savings money is through having a simple budget. Your budget will identifiy money for savings. It is hard to start saving. But once you start, you form a habit that lasts.

Start with identifying why you want to save money. Set short-term and long-term financial goals. In the short-term, you may want to buy a new couch. In the long-term, you might want to retire early. These are the goals that make saving worth a little sacrifice.

Give your goals dollar amounts and time frames. When you know that you only need to put back $100 a month, it is much easier than focusing on the $3,000 you need to save. Write down your goals and refer to them at least once a week. Track your progess and keep it as your number one priority.

You will eventually find that when you go to buy things, you are thinking that if you don’t spend as much, you will be closer to your goal. What a nice thought that is. You will find that not spending feels better than being guilty after spending.

Make sure you have a separate savings account. We like to tell ourselves that we can leave a cushion amount in our checking. We can’t. If it is there, we spend it. If you put your savings in your checking, you will dip into it. Have your savings in a separate account that you can watch grow.

If you don’t already have a budget, you need to make one. You will be able to identify areas where you can cut back your spending.

A lot of people have trouble identifying how much they should put into savings each month. This simply depends on your goals and finances. If you have a lot of debt that you need to pay down, you may be saving less. If you have your debt paid off, you may be saving more. Look to how much your budget says you can save. Don’t get caught up in percentages. The only time I use them is when we have bonus or unexpected money. In that case, we get a small percentage as free spending money. The rest goes into savings.

The best way to set up your savings habit is to not have to even think about it. Have the saving amount automatically debited from your checking and deposited directly into your savings account. You don’t ever see the money, which makes the temptation disappear.

There are no real secrets to saving. You simply have to find a method that works for you. It is hard to live with no savings. Especially the emergency savings that protect you from broken down vehicles, financial mistakes and job losses. We are frantically trying to build our savings back up, because we know how important they really are.

The United Kingdom Most Exciting Sexy Toy Survey for Men to Experiment with

So sexy toy are on the lips of every gentleman these days, either speaking about them in the web chats, at the art gallery or on the telly. But which sexy toy is the most popular, with the great choice to select from surely someone had to find out the best one.

A new sex toy retailer asked over 140 chicks in December what their very favourite sexy toy was along with other personal questions.

If you love sex toys you should try out Bondage Equipment

It was found that the most very favourite sexy toy for chicks was the vibrator, and they just adored it! Ladies were so excited by the idea of a large vibrator that many of them would use it straight after coming home from work. The best models of vibrator were the Jessica bunny vibrators as they help to stimulate the clit hood as well as inserting into the love tunnel.

The second most popular sexy toy was the exciting dong. Dildos are similar to vibrators except they do not have batteries or vibrate. Dildos come in all shapes and sizes from six inches to twelve inches. They can come with sucker cups to have a superb experience hands free and can easily attach to a bath or toilet set. Dildos have been a firm best seller since the 70s and looks like they will be around for a long time.

So it was decided that the vibrator was the winner and the dildo came in second place, with some many sex toys out there it was difficult to know which type of vibrator was the most exciting for women to try. The standard vibrators are battery powered and shaped like a guys penis. Classic vibrators are shaped just like the proper thing and use batteries for power. They can be made of plastic, vinyl metal or silicone. They can either be inserted or placed against your vagina to get the sexual sensation. Sex bomb supply a wide range of standard vibrators.

The easiest way to use standard vibrators is to make sure it is nice and fresh before use, make sure it is not too big for your vagina, and also make sure that you do not use it every Saturday night and you do venture out on a date to the bowling.

    The Employee Time Clock

Many of us still remember those punch clocks that our parents used to punch in and out of work, these machines were planned to keep an eye on the time employees spent and hopefully worked at the work place.

For many years, companies have relied on employee time clocks to accurately record how many hours are worked by each employee every week. Even though clocks have changed, these companies need to have some type of system that they can use to create payroll and ensure employees are getting paid for each hour worked. Employees these days use cards that they swipe along a slot, which reads their name and records the time they clocked in. Employees must also clock out each day the same way.

After the pay week is over, the central computer system tallies every employee’s hours and prints them out on a spreadsheet. This makes the payroll process efficient and rids much human error.
The employee time clock is something that has been tied to the factory and to productiveness, it is very surprising to learn that a lot of workers during the years have tried to find creative ways of using the time clock to their advantage, it is even more surprising to understand how much time and effort was spent into making sure that the time clock was always one step ahead and that company rules made absolutely sure that no one even thought of messing with it.

The employee time clock is usually located near a main entrance or break room area. Employees who do not get paid for lunch breaks must clock out during lunchtime. It is against any companies policy to use another employees time card or to clock in or out for them. This type of behavior usually results in both employees being fired. It is considered fraud to use another person’s time card.

The employee clock is a time saver in that payroll hours are automatically added up by the computer system. This is not to say the machines are perfect. Sometimes the magnetic stripe on the machine or the card does not work properly, so an employee’s time will not be recorded. Other times an employee might forget to clock in after lunch. These errors will need to be fixed in the computer system.

The employee clock will also be around for payroll needs. Even though there have been advancements made to make the clock more efficient, the principle of the employee clock will not change. Hourly employees need a way to keep track of their time. Companies need logical ways to record and monitor an employees time to ensure they are putting in the hours they need to continue being a productive employee.

With the development of computer software and better time clocks the old fashioned time clock slowly disappears from our lives, but new and better tools are added daily to ensure employees time is well spent.

So, You Want to be a Work at Home Mom

    But Where do you Start?

    Right Here!!!!

    #1 Plan

Before you sign up for anything, buy anything, do anything, you must plan. Ask yourself the important questions, like what do you want out of this and what are you passionate about.

    #2 Prioritize

Many of us jump into things that we really can’t handle. Don’t get me wrong, we are all Super Mom!!! However, we need to know what is the most important to us, and how to fit all of the pieces together.

    #3 Budget

Similar to time prioritizing, except with money. It is easy to spend all of your money at the beginning not thinking of this venture as long term. Or make the mistake of spending money you simply just don’t have. Let’s not forget why you are doing this. It is to make money, to contribute to your family, not to break to bank trying.

    #4 Research

Before investing in something, whether it is time, money, or both, you must know what you are investing in. Flashy websites, big promises, and dollar signs can distract you away from the real issue at hand. You want an opportunity that fits your needs, not one that simply looks good.

In addition, in order to create an accurate budget you will need to know how much start up, promotion, and maintenance will cost. When researching an opportunity those are the three things you will want to find out.

There are basically two routes to go. You can either join a pre-existing opportunity, or if you have a completely new idea, start a new eBiz.

    #5 Discuss

A confidant is a wonderful person to bounce off ideas. Share your priorities and plans with your friend/spouse. Allow them to be objective about whether the opportunity you have chosen fits with what you want. I recommend have two or three choices in mind.

    #6 Sleep

Any good salesperson will tell you, that the biggest part of a sale is made based on the emotion evoked by the product and the environment surrounding it, not truly how good the product is. If the opportunity is as good today as it was yesterday, than you have probably found what you have been looking for.
